This weekend was a whirlwind of excitement for Cheer Energy with 4 zero deduction routines and a bid to the D2 Summit! Surge, Sparks, Voltage, Vortex, Impulse, Blackout, and Explosion took the stage on Sunday to put on some incredible routines.
Surge and Sparks were very cute in their performances. Coaches Amy and Katie are so proud of how far they have come this season with how new they are to the cheerleading world. We can't wait to continue to watch them grow with our program.
After a difficult week for both the coaches and the athletes, Voltage put on an amazing zero deduction routine that earned them a bid to the D2 Summit. Congratulations to every athlete and coach for the hard work you have put in to get you this accomplishment!
Vortex did not have their best pyramid day, however the routine leading up until the pyramid was awesome. Use this experience to remember that no matter what happens, you are able to pick yourself up and keep going. Your elite stunts, tumbling, and dance were beautiful.
Blackout (zero deduction) and Impulse performed incredible routines this weekend. Thank you to all of our senior athletes that continue to show us how resilient you are, balancing school cheer, work, and showing up when it matters for your teammates.
There is no stopping anytime soon for Cheer Energy as we continue on this week to compete in Sevierville at Double Down Championships. This competition is 2-days, so for any of our supporters at home that are not able to travel, tune into Varsity TV to watch all of our teams compete. Check back on this page for team placements after next weekend.
